Japanese restaurant, Price ~£10 to 20 for a meal, Address: 50 Topsfield Parade, Crouch End, London N8 8PT, website

Sashimi set B is really popular at just £12.

Nakama is a wallet friendly Japanese restaurant that serves seriously fresh sushi, Japanese hot food, such as tempura and katsu curry, and specially selected healthy Japanese temple food. It’s located a stone’s throw away from the clocktower at the end of Crouch end Broadway. My mother admits that her tempura aren’t quite as good as Nakama’s, which is a big compliment! I do have to put a massive disclaimer on this review because it’s run by my dad. In fact, I’ll just let the pictures do the talking. Make sure you book on weekends!

Seaweed salad for three. Healthy and nicely seasoned.

Sushi - tuna, salmon, sea bass and mackerel. Lovely and fresh.

Fresh yellowtail sushi.

Nakama Crouch end katsu curry. The katsu's crunchy and soft inside. It's a bit of a pity that it's already covered in curry. (I asked this to be changed)
